Murmur — Privacy Policy
Last updated 20 June 2026 · NYRAI LLC
Murmur is a voice-first Apple Watch assistant. You dictate a question and
receive a short spoken answer. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account email — to create and authenticate your account.
- Your questions and conversation context — the text of each
question you ask is sent to our server and to our third-party AI provider
(Anthropic) solely to generate your answer. To understand follow-up questions
(e.g. "what about in miles?"), a few of your most recent questions and answers
from the same session are included with the request as context. We do not sell
or share the content of your questions, and they are not used to train AI models.
Data retention
- Question and answer content is processed transiently to
generate your reply and is not stored on our servers after the
answer is returned. Recent context is held only in memory on your devices for the
current session.
- Usage records (timestamp and token counts, with no question
text) are kept to enforce daily limits and manage costs, and are removed when you
delete your account.
- Account data (email) is retained until you delete your
account.
What we do NOT collect
- No advertising identifiers, no third-party trackers, no analytics SDKs.
- Audio is transcribed to text on Apple's systems; we never store raw audio.
Where data lives
Account and usage data are stored in our Supabase (PostgreSQL) backend.
Questions are processed transiently by Anthropic's Claude API to produce answers.
Your choices
You can delete your account at any time from the iPhone app, which removes your
profile and usage records. Contact us to request a copy of your data.
